International Partners
The Department of German at UC Davis maintains active ties with a number of German-speaking universities. Among them are the Universität Göttingen, the official German partner university of the University of California, and the Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf, with whom the Department maintains its own active exchange program for faculty and students. In addition, the German Department regularly hosts faculty members and students from all over the German-speaking world for short- and long-term visits. In turn, faculty and students from the UC Davis German Department regularly participate in a variety of international cooperative ventures with universities and research institutes in the German-speaking countries, whether as visiting professors, researchers, lectures, or guest students.
